Windows XP Service Pack 2 Help?

I installed WSP2 from an online site so that I could use Microsoft Office 2007. After I installed it however my computer screen became solarized and now the screen colors are all screwed up. Can anyone help me?

You need to install drivers for your devices.

my be you need to update you VGA driver software to work best with the updates from SP2 .. try it and see.. you got nothing to loose .. if it didn't work then try uninstalling the SP2 and getting it from microsoft site to make sure it's not corrupted or somthing

Try re-installing or find an updated driver for your display. It might just need a fresh installation of the driver.

If the display adapter is built-in to the motherboard:
1. Go to the manufacturer's website of the motherboard
and download the updated driver.
2. Install the driver.

If the display adapter is an add-on card:
1. Got to the manufacturer's website of the video card and
download the updated driver.
2. Install the driver.

If your display adapter is quite old and you cannot find any updated drivers in the manufacturer's website:

i will give it a try,on your monitor there are some buttons
either on the front or on the side,one of them should say
auto/select or something similar to it press it,what this does
is bring the monitor back to factory specs. try this easy
way before you do any of the other answers. hope this works.

Start, Control Panel, Display, Settings and you can troubleshoot or you can click on whatever until you see what can help you. I dont know how it looks so I cant tell you what to click on after that, but I do know your resolution is not set, When you troubleshoot it just find your issue and it will guide you from there and if not just fiddle around with the tabs until you get to where you want to be.
