Question for Australians: Which number can I make a complaint to about Australia Post about bad mail service?

I have been not getting mail, and about once every 2 or 3 weeks I get a big bundle of mail at once...this is making me go nuts...I went to the Post Office to complain, they gave me the run around and weren't real interested to help me...is the post office ombudsman or something similar to complain to??

I know how you feel I have been fighting with the local mail service for 5 years and finally I had to get a post office box.

My mail was going all over town and I would end up with other peoples mail. I complained repeatedly to the local manager.

I am still paying for a PO Box.

Hi, The 2 above answers are correct, go back to the Post Office and ask for a complaint form, show them you are not playing their game, check if the PO is PO owned or a private contract, Yes they will give you the run around Stand firm and Demand your rights.

Go back to your local Australia Post (ask to speak to the manager) and tell them that if they don't do something you're going to take it to your local MP or they'll next be hearing about it in the newspaper. Try to go over their heads. That might get some results.
