Must I use the registered logo of a brand that my store services?

My store does repair service on office equipment. I want to advertise that I can repair common national brands of equipment. Are there any requirements (such as always use the logo with the circle R), or restrictions (you cannot use the logo without corporate permission) that I should be aware of?

if you don't already sell the supplies, you can always refer your customers to us for them.

It would be very unusual for any company to require you to use their logo unless you are the "authorized service provider" - then, you would want to use the logo.

If a company is disturbed because you advertise that you service their products, they will send you a "cease and desist" demand and at that time you have to decide whether or not to fight the demand. Usually it is not worth it - just change your advertising to ".... and other major brands of [printers or what have you]"

Keep it simple.
"We repair all brands"
