I try to transfer emails from my lap top top my Office PC, and in doing so, I lost the ones being transferered |
and also the old ones that were in my PC. Where did they go and how to recover them, why this happened, and how to transfer them in a safely manner next time?!?!?!.. (they were more than 500 mails lost!!!...) HELP, HELP, HELP!!!.... I did try it thru an internet service in my office... HELP, HELP, HELP!!!... What email program are you using? Did you check the deleted items/trash can to make sure they didn't go there by mistake? Did you export on the desktop and try to import on the laptop? If so, the file that you exported to should still be around somewhere - you can search for it by filename. that sucks how did you attempt the transfer -- Outlook Express, File, Export, Messages... or something else? syncronise the messages or transfer via data pen Try transfering them to your yahoo account and retreiving them from your work computer and vice versa? That has always worked for me when ive had to use my moms computer...just email myself then open it when i get home. If this is something which you have to do regularly, wouldnt it be better if you used a web based email service like gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail etc (or maybe your current provider has a web mail interface) |
