Does anyone know how to solve the following problem with Office 2003?

When using the update service for Microsoft Office 2003, all the updates fail. Why do they fail? Windows update works ok, cant figure it out.

Doesnt say why, downloads them ok, just fails to install

Whats the reason for failure?

It should have some kind of error message if it fails... ANd how do you know it failed?

Try uninstalling the failed updates, then re-download. But, if problems persist, contact the Microsoft customer assistance; They should be able to help.

install office 2003 again

make sure you have original office 2003 , the Microsoft server check the serial number validity and if the serial is already in use you can't update your product.
