A question about Absentee Ballots?

Hey there!

I'm putting in an application for an absentee ballot to vote this November since I'm away at school. On the application it asks for my "Post Office." I've been looking around on the net and I can't seem to find:
1. If I need the identification code or the address for the post office that services my address
2. How I can find out which office I use. I kept looking around and all these different post offices keep coming up that are in my area.

I'd imagine if I called around the post offices they could tell me which one services my address, but I doubt they would be able to tell me if I needed the code for the application or what.

Does anyone have any experience with absentee ballots? Can you help me out? Thanks a bunch!!!

They mean your Zip code. If I'm wrong, the local Board of Elections can give you the correct answer.

That just means the city the mail goes to. I live in Butte County and do not technically live in Chico, CA but that is my post office for my mailing address.
