Many of us spiritual people who don't subscribe to your" flavor", and flagrant flaunting of God's will, will.....proceed quite peacefully to the heaven of our own design........WITHOUT YOUR HELP! You meant well, God Bless you anyway......but you are SO arrogantly exclusionary
of the MAJORITY OF THE WORLD'S RELIGIONS!

Four score and seven years ago, (87 years to be precise) our fathers brought forth onto this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that ALL men are created equal. Religion divides people and it is the complete antithesis of equality, spouting the belief that "I'm holier than thou and thou art going to hell, handbasket optional." Whoever proffered this rancid flavor in support of Lincoln's inspirational pep rally did not grok the true meaning of the Gettysburg Address.

I am totally unhappy about the religion one of my family members married into, and has chosen to follow. It is one of those where that uninvited preaching comes in, and no one else in the family wants to hear it.

I don't push my religious beliefs on anyone else, and don't expect that they should push theirs on me. It has happened, though, on many occasions...and from people of more than one faith.

I realize I went into a rant when I saw this last night, and calmed it down for obvious reasons. I truly hope that no one other than you and Michael saw what type of fits I go into when facing a question that hits home. Michael's answer to your question is a winner.

yeah, I don't go near R&S because it's something like, if you ain't my denomination you are going to h*ll. I know a lot of people who are really trying to do their best with what God gave them and they are certainly not going to H*ll. That counts for all religions. Just try to leave this place having done one good thing, or if you couldn't do that maybe you tried to do one good thing. You know in your heart if you did or not. And for the purely evil people that harm other people, yes, they should be isolated to protect the innocent. Shouldn't be killed, just isolated. What is wrong with us? We are so mixed up we don't know what we are doing. See, that's where God comes in to whatever Religion you belong to, where ever in the world and whatever His Name is to you.
