2005 Mini Cooper brake light indicator how to reset?

I had my brakes redone by the Tire Kingdom service by my office, but they do not know how to reset the light to go off.
Can anybody tell me if this can be done from the car alone (like the oil service counter) of do I have to go to the Mini service an pay $$$$$$ just for that.
The car has 62k miles.

Make sure the fluid is topped off in the master cylinder and double check that the parking brake lever is fully disengaged.

if you have a code reader, or have a friend that has a code reader, that will work for your vehicle, then you can probably clear the code yourself, which in turn would probably clear the light.

agree with other user too in that you should check your fluids etc...

of course, I'm not too familiar with the MC's so it may not work the same as on a domestic vehicle.
