Concerning our state resourcesat the county levels?

we need a office for mental health services,and a office for the dept. of human services inside our county jails in our state of oklahoma.people need both services when incarcerated for all family members.would you think this could help people??

Sorry, I can't help you with Oklahoma; but out here in California, some inmates have similar need for services. Sacramento has intermittent gridlock on amendments to Code consistent with opinions from the State Supreme Court, which identified previously unaddressed needs on cases from the District Court of Appeals level to which they granted certiorari. Occasionally, a Sheriff balks at new Health Services units inside the jails due to concerns the Legislature attempted to address.

Notwithstanding the variances between chief corrections officers and standing legislative committees, the need for mental health services to a portion of the inmate population that is actually in ill psychologic health does exist.
