What are some high paying jobs that require less than 2 year college degree or non in Dallas, TX ?

I've been a homemaker for a few years now. My husband is Active in the military and we traveled a lot. He鈥檚 now getting out, and it鈥檚 my opportunity to get out of the house and work. I would like to go to a trade school or college for about 2 years, less would be great. My goal is to get paid more than I have in the past. I only have a high school diploma; I'm in my mid 20's and want to get a higher education in less time for better pay. I feel that longer would be too long, since we have 4 kids all under the age of 7. I feel that 2 years are going to be very challenging and I worry if I go longer I will quit. This will be challenging for me since they are all under the age of 7. My previous work experience is collections, office manager, customer service, Housing consultant, and Sales.
If you know someone who is currently working and didn't have to do too much college, or school and are getting high pay I would like to know. Any information or tips are welcome and will be very helpful. Thanks!

It's never too late for anyone...don't let anyone make you believe that.

Sales is the #2 industry to make over 6 figures. So if you did that before, try it again. I don't have a degree and manage to support my wife, 2 kids, a mortgage and a rottweiller.

Good luck!

court stenographer

real estate, dental assistant, medical assistent

sales is ALWAYS a good decision (if you are good at it and like customer service). try a business to business sales position.

I work on a printing press printing for motels, hotels and food service industries and it doesn't require any college. All it requires is a good eye for color. A little mechanical skill and getting your hands dirty with ink, oil and chemicals (Safe Chemicals) And I am making 22 an hour and i've been printing for 3 yrs

prolly too late for your now but picking up a tradeskill always works real good without a lot of schooling. may be a bad example but, my dad dropped out of school in 10th grade to take care of his family and he makes real good money now as a carpenter, but probably because he has been for 30 years

What do you consider "high paying"? You could be a paralegal, which pays around 50K, though I would not consider that "high paying".

Honestly, a two year degree is not really worth the time. Most colleges have night programs and online programs for non-traditional student. Even a 4 year degree is losing its value.
