Question for Medical Office Managers/Human Resources? |
Other than experience doing the exact same job that they are applying for, what kind of experience do you value? Customer service, direct care, other types of office work? What things do you value on a resume? Typically a resume is used to determine if the applicant has the qualifications to do the job, so you're looking for relevant experience which, as you've already noticed, involves more than just the duties of the job. Customer service is big plus in any job where an employee will be dealing with your customers. For an office manager, you want them to also have some supervisory or management experience, as well as good computer skills. |
