I had a 1 year lease....?

and this is our finnal month. I went into the office and paid my rent for May but they didn't say anything about signing another lease for another year. So will be a month to month. Or will or can we sign another lease

It automatically goes month to month with the same terms. If you are sure you want to stay there at least another year, call them and ask for a new lease. They almost certainly will be happy to give you a new lease, but they may raise your rent too. The good news is, thought thye may raise your rent you of course do lock it in for another year with the new lease.

you have to review the original lease. what does it say? you may automatically enter into a new lease after so many days, or it may be month to month. You should really ask them if you don't have a copy. Good luck!

Because there is a cost in finding new tenants, many places require a one year lease, then go month to month.
