Can anyone answer this?

I am paying around $1000.00 a month for rent in a well known apt complex. They own all over the west and south. Now, I noticed bugs, roaches and fat worms all around one of the bedroom floors. I put down the sticky pads and they were full in one day. I pay $13.00 a month for pest control and garbage pick up. The pest control are spraying (water or something) and it is NOT helping. I have been to the apt. office and called them and done all I can do but they will not do a thing. The pest control man says it has been wet and the carpet has mold all around on edges.and needs replacing. I put my grand baby's bed and toys in there but have not been able to use the room. Do I have a case for my lawyer or should I call the Health dept. ?? WHo sbhould I call if anyone? Help. I am a divorced woman.

Call a local TV station and tell them your story ! Here we have a local program that is called " On Your Side" , and it is specifically for consumers like yourself ! They don`t mess around , once that story hits the TV air waves , the landlord , the health dept. or whoever wouldn`t help you before will be beating your door down to get the problem solved !

I think you should find another place to live. If you get a lawyer you will not be able to get good references for your next apartment. If they don't care about the well being of their tenants then you should move out.
If moving is not an option than maybe check with other tenants if they are experiencing the same problem.
If more then one complains then they are more likely to listen.

Don't bother calling the apartment complex again,,, call the
Investigation leg of the county health department,, they will
take care of this for you, And get the results you are needing.
