My boyfriend won't give me a key to my house?

After a year of being with my boyfriend and spending time at his very lg 5 bed house, we decided it was best for me to give up my rented flat that I spent hardly any time at, it was silly paying the rent. since then I have stayed at my boyfriend's - but only when he invites me. He won't give me a key and if he is going out I can't go in the house or stay there or if he goes away on holiay I have to stay at a friend's. sometimes if I am early I have to sit on the doorstep until he arrives - I keep lying to the neighbours that I have forgot my key. If I ask him for a key he mutters that he will get one cut but never does. If I decide not to stay there when he has decided I will, he gets really grumpy, like he wants the say when I am there and not, not me. By giving up my flat I gave up control and now I have nowhere else to go when he decides he doesnt' want me around, sometimes I have slept in a sleeping bag on my office floor. When we are together he is very nice but.......

I have suggested I get my own place but he doesn't want that.

dont bother with the key just find yourself somewhere to live pack your things and leave........stick a message on the door saying i would have left a note by the phone but i coulnt get in the house....goodbye!! AND RUN LIKE THE CLAPPERS

he sounds sad don't move out and stay at your place until he gets one for you and he bucks his ideas up.. am the same as you but i have my own key to my bf am moving back in tomora cos its costing me a lot when am not even there am at my bf 90% of the time.

have a chat 2 him about it, hes obviously being very unfair
