Do you know any good job websites, (other than the main ones...?)? |
I also just need advice, I have been a working artist, freelancing for 15 years and want to get a full time job with benefits. While I'd love to still be able to be creative, I realize how hard this is, and would work in an office. How do I transition into this type of job? I feel like my resume, although filled is as good as a blank piece of paper. I've been looking for a while and am really frustrated; it seems like the only options for me don't pay enough to cover gas, rent, car insurance, etc. You may register at freelance website like http://www.getafreelnacer.com/ and bid for all projects suitable to you, however bid as less as possible initially. Most jobs actually aren't posted on those kinds of sites. I learned through my own job hunt (and my local county Workforce Center) that only 20% of available jobs end up on websites or in the newspaper. Most people get jobs through networking. |
