I shyt where I slept.......?

Ok here is the situation; I am a conservative African American young lady, raised by 2 well educated, caring parents. I am college educated as well.

I work in an office building where there is light security. By light I mean the guys that work security don't wear the typical rent-a-copy uniforms. They were street clothes, it's a casual environment. ANYHOOO!

One of the guys is a straight THUG, but something about him is SEXY as HELL!!! Ok, so I did "it". I was curious, it's done and I'm ready to move on, but this knucklehead wants to keep it goin'. From the beginning I told him that this is just what it is, no more, no less. How do I keep this guy from calling? I鈥檝e tried everything. I need him to get some new p鈥?, so that he can leave me alone.

You got that right. And now you gotta put up with this dude 5 days a week.

Tell him that it was what is was and you don't have space in your life for anything committed right now. And if he wants to be in your life he can but possibly as just friends.

Block his number and tell him if he doesn't stop contacting you, you'll get a restraining order. You'd made it clear it was just a fling, so he's got no right to expectations beyond that.

Remember this lesson...get to know the person in the future if you think you might want to play with someone related to your work. I had the opposite happen...we were "involved" a few weeks, then work and other issues in his life pulled him away and I became invisible (after him having pursued me for a year). It's tough to see someone you REALLY dig, every day, and pretend like they're just another dude you work with (but somehow I manage). *sigh* 鈽衡樆

Wow, sounds like you put yourself in quite a bad situation.

You just have to be firm with him, tell him again that it cannot continue. If he decides to threaten you and say that he will tell your co-workers tell him that you will deny it. Who's going to believe him anyway.

Change your phone number, find out if anyone else has complained about him, and possibly search for a new job.

I mean honestly, if he really doesn't get it...what can you really do??...restraining order?!
