What about a team of lobbyists to represent us - the American people? Aren't we a special interest too?

There are lobbyists for every special interest except the American people. It's time to build our own special interest group in Washington, complete with our own lobbyists promoting an agenda we support, an agenda that benefits all of us. Would you join an organization of fellow citizens to make this happen? Would you be willing to pay a membership fee that would be used to: hire lobbyists and research staff, rent a national headquarters office in D.C., launch and maintain an interactive website that we can use to communicate our message and collaborate with our lobbyists, etc.? We could also establish a political action committee to help elect candidates who push our agenda over those of narrow special interests, and produce TV ads againsts candidates who refuse to go along. Let me know what you think.
