I have a judgment on my credit if I wanted to rent an apartment would I be able too if I paid a year in advanc |
. Like an upfront payment. Would the rental office lease with me. Fill out the rental application and ask to speak to the manager. You are not the only person with a judgment on their credit report, and the manager understands those people still need a place to live. You bet. Would like to know what happened? But yes I would be happy to rent to you, Unless you stiffed the last landlord. Unless your judgment is housing related (ie foreclosure, eviction, past due rent) then you shouldn't have a problem. Some places require a co-signer (even with a substantial deposit) and don't think that paying 1 year in advance will exempt you from a security deposit...you might have to come up with more than 1 years rent. |
