Basically, I applied for housing 2 years ago when I was pregnant and have not got anywhere, I am now leaving my private rented property because I cannot pay the rent (my landlord has ended my tenancy and my b/f left me so I can no longer pay) I am going to be homeless by the 21st february so I am pretty much screwed. Do you think I should go to the local town hall and sleep on their grass? considering I pay them a hefty sum each month in council tax and they won't find me a house. I have been to homeless prevention unit, I have visited their offices and applied for at least 3 houses a week and got nowhere

can the police move me? even if it is in protest?

I'm a U.S. people . but i like to answer and help.
that's so unethical and immoral of you landlord to throw you out like that.
ask your college to see if you can rent a dorm room from them or pay them after you graduate. or your parents?

Sorry can't advise you, but at least you won't have to pay council tax if you have no house .
