Renting a horse trailer - moving?

There is a small possibility that I might be moving to Florida this summer, from Minnesota. I would bring my two horses with me, but we do not own a horse trailer right now. I'm trying to find out if I could rent one for the move. (I would buy one eventually.)

Is there a moving company (for example U-Haul) that rents out horse trailers.
It is very important that it's a well known company that has offices in Minnesota and Florida because I do not want to bring the trailer back to MN!

Oops, I didn't mean to post this in this catagory.

I looked into this a few years ago. Companies like U-Haul don't rent horse trailers, and they deliberately make their trailers short so you cannot haul stock in them.

I know you don't want to do this, but you would probably be much better off having a professional company do this. Some haulers have stalls, not standing stantion type hauling. There are companies that are passionate about this, it isn't some generic truck driver hauling your horses, it is someone that knows horses and stops frequently to check them out.

In my situation, finding places to stop where we could unload them for awhile and sleep, plus the cost of the trailer was just ridiculous. We ended up selling them, something I still regret to this day.

Honestly, if I were you, I would pay to have someone else haul them for you, especially with the move being that far. A little expensive but alot less stress for you in the long run especially since it appears as though you don't exactly have much experience hauling horses yourself as you do not own a trailer. Anyway, try googling horse transport and see what you can find. Get quotes. That is the best advice I can give.
