My job is driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

this is a long one....
my boss is too controlling, all the guys in the office swear constantly..mostly the c word which I most definatly will not tolerate, the rules in the office only apply to me and the technician (my boyfriend) and no one else in the office, I get in trouble if anyone else does something wrong.
my boss says I can do something and then the next day I will get in trouble for it e.g. smoke breaks.
my boss has previously sworn at me as well.
no one is allowed to talk to me at reception except one sales guy who gets everything he damn well wants all the time.
I want to find a new job as I am paying rent/bills etc... so I can't just quit.
Is all this activity legal because I don't feel I am in a professional work environment.
He even gives people breath tests to check we aren't hungover in the morning.
please help me with some advice.

and I will just add that my boss is the only management in the company, there are only 5 workers here, and I am afraid to stand up to my boss legally due to the fact that he is so aggressive.

call your local labor board no it is not right what he is doing and you could sue and you should get unemployment which well help some til you get another job good luck

If its as you describe, why are you still there?

If language in the work place is offensive to you, then tell the boss that you find it objectionable and if something is not done about it, tell the boss that you will seek legal advice...I would do this verbally and then put it in writing, citing when you discussed the issue...The situation that you describe definitely sounds like sexual harassment...Just give management a chance to address the matter first.

All the best.

P.S...Keep looking for a different job

look for another job with a more pleasant atmosphere, at the same time call in the department of labor and union if you have one, explain to them the situation and let them know that you are afraid of being victimized so your report should remain autonomous. Good luck.
