Help with chapter 13?

I was at my attorney's office to fill out paper work for chapter 7
his part will go fast but the court could take up to 6 mo.
that's six mo. of free rent for my soon to be exwife how can I speed this up shes the one that wants this divorce she need to be out ?

For any bankruptcy, you must keep up your bills after you file the petition with the court. So, she won't be able to live rent free, no matter what chapter is filed. It only gives protection with the amounts that are filed in the petition.

I can help you with a 13. I work for a ch 13 Trustee.
But anyway, you can't really speed up the court. And can't you just get divorced in the mean time?
