My daughter is enquiring about buying her council house.?

she is going to the council office tomorrow to discuss the terms...will she be entitled to a reduction on the price of her home?
She has lived in the property for ten years & has always paid full rent..thanks.

Be very careful - the moment the council get the merest sniff of the fact that your daughter may be interested in buying her home, they will cease to make any further repairs or updates on it.

Go for it, you may get a good discount on the house and what a way to get on the house purchase ladder, that is how I started years ago.

It depends what brought your daughter lives in in Hertfordshire you get a max 34k if you have been in your home for 5yrs or more but the same if you have been in it 50yrs. But yes once your daughter makes a request to buy they do stop doing any repairs etc on the home until the request ceases. But i think its good to get a kick start on the property ladder. However there may be a time limit on your daughter selling the house and not having to pay the discount back. Good luck
