My ex landlord collects over 2,oo0 a mt. for over 10 years in rent..he does not claim it and gives no receipts |
he refuses to give anyone receipts and claims none of the rental income..he has done this for over 10 years who do i contact...i do have proof through a check paid for me thru sc office of victims assistance..please advise thru my e mai on this..i really do not care about your points or whatever,,i'm trying to get to the right place to report this..am i there...thank you Call the IRS and they will audit him. Report this guy. There are two sites besides BBB what he is doing is illegal. he absolutly needs to provide you with a receipt, even a handwritten one, every time you pay rent. Your best bet is to contact your state's renter's association. They keep a list of landlords, bad and good, and can investigate claims of shady business. Another safe bet would be your local town hall. They should be able to point you in the right direction. contact the irs and bbb Wow, Here are normal costs. Water bills, gas bills, heating bills, electricity for lights and cooking and washing machines, and dryers especially. There are yearly taxes, and those are huge. City services such as garbage collection, sewer maintenance, road and street lighting and clean up, recycling fees come as a different charge. You would report him to the IRS. It's up to them if they choose to audit him or not. You can also see if there are any licenses needed for being a landlord in you area. If so, a call to the Licenses and Inspection department could also be in order. Pay him by check so you have your rent receipt and don't worry abou what he's doing. |
