Leasin office promised to change my horribl cabinets. but now they'r playin games. how can have them do that? |
i don't know what to do, is there any law that protect renters?the problem is that my rent went up and i don't want to pay that additional amount and i'm having junk kitchen cabinets. If you didn't get it in writing, I think you might have a problem. sorry Im with answer #1. You gotta get it in writing. I suppose a verbal agreement would be good enough to tell them you want to break the lease and leave, but do you want to leave. Have them put it in writing, and add a finish date while you are at it. Yes, there are places to contact but I do not know where you live. You do have renters rights. Did everyone get a notice about the rent going up? Or are they playing games and just want you out? Contact the city regarding the housing codes and what your rights are in that city. Don't let them snowball you. |
