For home based LLC, Is it better to take Home office Dedn or rent from LLC to home and why?

You'll need to ask someone who is familiar with your income and expense levels. That will be the determining factor for a balanced opinion. Plus, don't forget that State rules change depending on your location and that could impact your decision.

Sorry, the easy answer would have been the rent expense because it's based on fair market value of the property and not a percentage of your home's expenses (but that's not always a good answer.)
