I'm looking for a section 8 unit to rent a can't find anything on line or from my housing office does anyone have any suggestion. Here are some links that you can research in Yeah,quit mooching off the government! why would you want to live in section 8 housing. its terrible wherever you go. they are infested with everything under the sun, torn up, never energy effecient. i think you should look through a mls book and find a little place you can afford in a better neighborhood or maybe the outskirts of your town where rent is cheaper, get a roommate to help with expenses and live a life much better than you would in section 8 housing. Try contacting private renters. Most renters are ignorant about the benefits of renting to a section-8 tenant: payment is guaranteed on time & renters have an incentive to maintain property. Also, try contacting real estate offices in your area that manage rental properties. Most real estate websites allow you to search for rentals. The way the housing market is now, many home sellers are opting to rent their properties & are open to alternative rental options, so let people know you are in the market to rent. |
