I'm 17 and need an apartment?

im six months pregnant ive been told by the rent offices that the age for to rent is 19 in the state of alabama. is there any way that i can beat that for example like getting my mother to put the apartment in her name and me staying there i really need help and fast i start working for the state thursday as an asa-1 doing office work my boyfriend also cus hair at an barber shop and also another question what bills do you have to pay when you get an apartment

At age 17, you are a minor and minors can not sign binding contracts. It is unlikely anyone will rent you an apartment on just your signature. You need an adult to sign a lease.

When you get an apartment, you will have to pay first month's rent and a deposit that is equal to rent, so for a $500 a month apartment, that would be $1000 you have to give the landlord up front.
The 7 bills you always have are water, garbage, electric, gas or propane, telephone, and cable. Some of those are included in the rent. The ones that aren't, you call the company to set up an account. Some of them charge deposits, also.

if you live in Madison County, Try the Warren House. They are quite lenient. They let you pay by weekly and month to month. I think the address is on university rd. or the zip may be 35816

Try going to apartments around college campuses - sometimes they can be more liberal. Also, having Mom co-sign is a great way to get this done - sometimes an extra deposit is required though. Try to seek out small independently owned places, where you can talk with the manager or owner more easily. If you seem responsible and have a good plan of action, they will tend to bend the rules to accommodate you a little more than a big corporate-owned complex.

Sometime you can find apartments that pay all of the utilities within your rent - which could mean less deposits from you, and easier to make sure that water and electric stay on for that new baby of yours.
