My husband and i rent an apartment downstairs and? |
the people upstairs just moved in 2 months ago. They have a 10 yr old boy that is autistic and they make alot of noise i mean every single day we cant sleep i thimk theres more kids because they jump they throw food down my patio and all this other stuff we have complain 5 times to the leasing office and they said the only thing they could do is complain to them. one night i saw the kid on the balcony with no close on only underwears and a blanket sleeping outside when it was raining. i felt bad to complain at first but i have alittle girl and one on the way and my little girl cant sleep my husband works grave yard and almost never gets a goood sleep i dont want to get use to it . The last time i called the police at 6 am and they talked to them that i filed a report but they dont stop its like there doing it on purpose and we cant move until our lease is up wich is 7 months more what should i do next. That happened to me years ago when renting, and after numerous complaints I was able to get out of my lease with them and found a new apartment. You should inquire about that with the manager of the apartment complex. if you see a child sleeping outside in the rain you need to report it to child services! Graveyard is a very hard shift to do and then come home and no sleep. Here are some suggestions,1.Headphones with music for husband He will get used to them. (I do this when kids are home and I am trying to sleep) I also work Nights. Another thing is maybe understand the diese of Autisim it is a struggle for both parents and children that have it. His sleeping outside when it was raining and in underwear and blanket if it was a danger this should have been reported to the police. But if the child sleeps best with the feel of the rain and the sound as long as he is safe and his parents know about it. Here is some links to Autism for you please for your sake and your family's please read up on this so you can get an understanding of what the parents and the child is going through.Studies show autistic children love water. Good Luck This is a tough one! First of all, the parents should be reported to child services for the kid sleeping out in the rain. To help get sleep, try using a loud fan. The constant sound of the fan should muffle out the sound of your obnoxious neighbors. This is the ONLY way my husband and I can even get any sleep. when u report it to police did u get an EVENT NUMBER? if not ask for one, and give it to the real estate and have them evicted. If they don't get evicted ring the rental bond board, (u should have their number with ur lease agreement) they should help u with this, u r not allowed to do these things by law. I don't know what country u live in, but i'm in australia, and that's what happens here. |
