As a landlord, I know it is always better to rent to a single guy than a women.?

The women are complete slobs, and even at my office (major huge company) the women tell me women in the rest rooms throw crap all over and are filthy. I never really bought into the whole June Cleaver stereotype, but women do not make good tenants( or wives for that matter)

I wish people would stay on the topic. I am gay and could care less about dating women. I am just a landlord, and stating a fact. What other landlords have found this to be true. I mean, the women seem all nice and sweet at the time of the application, but they always turn out to be bad tenants.

So if woman don't make good wife's then who does? Most American woman don't make good wife's, but not all woman in the world make bad wife's. Plus woman don't throw crap in the restrooms, only the crazy ones. But I do agree they have a lot of stuff and are very unorganized.

to bad you didn't put more information, so one of us messy ladies could come and try to rent your place and then use then ..comment so to speak, against you and take you to court and win... like someone said .. its against the law to discriminate..you lose. Report It

Maybe you should try getting references before you rent to ANYBODY regardless of gender...

I was a landlord with 2 2-family houses. You are soooo wrong it's almost funny. The women were cleaner, actually cared about decorating tastfully, had respect for the property,
and paid the rent on time. When the women moved out I didn't have to go into the bathroom with a hazmat suit on to clean. Do ya see what I'm getting at here??

So you're not actually asking a question that you don't already have an answer to???
You just want to point out that you really dislike women and won't even have sex with them?

Women make huge messes in restrooms especially public one. I've seen it myself at jobs that required me to enter women's restrooms

As a landlord cleanliness isn't your biggest concern. Worry if they pay the rent and give notice and vacate when they say they will.
But I've seen extremely messy women as well as men. Women often leave the house looking more put together but that doesn't mean they have a clean apartment or car or anything else.

Whether you are right or wrong, if you discriminate against someone because of gender,race, religion, etc., you can be fined and perhaps go to jail over it.

I have actually had more problems with single men, than women. They tend to want to party all the time. I have had more damages from men putting fists through walls, they hate housecleaning, and most of them dont know how to fill out a check.
My best tenants have been gay guys and women. Pay their rent on time, extremely clean, no damages, and left it in alot better shape than they got it in. Like making extra upgrades because they want to, not necessarily needed. Most of my rentals are in a prominent gay community for that very reason.
The second best tenants are the young couples just starting out. They need the credit and I am willing to help them out. I even go so far as to help them make the security deposit in payments if need be. I have had young couples stay with me until they could afford a house of their own and they left mine spotless. I was sorry to see them go.
To be perfectly honest, you have bad in every type of tenant, regardless if they are single men, women, young couple, married, divorced, and or gay. Thats where the good screening process comes in and gut instinct. Your credit and background check may come in perfect, but if I meet you and the hair on my arms stand up, I wont rent to you. There is a gut instinct that something is definately wrong and its never failed me yet.
As being gay, I do not see how you can say women dont make good wives. Unless you are going by your own mother, you cannot say that. My parents have been married for over 50 yrs, perfect? NO. But then no marraige is perfect. But rest assured it was not due to my mothers fault. It was my father that had a problem and my mother stuck by him regardless. And you surely cant go by what disgruntaled wife or husband says. They are going to say alot of things to make their spouse the cause of the problem to avoid their own blame in the matter. Remember, it takes two to make a relationship work. Not one.

I have had more negative experiences with young women maintaining my rental properties inside and out,but with that being said......I am a woman and take very good care of my property and my family(including my husband).Gay or not you seem to have issues with females and it would be no different than if I said ...Gay people are lousy tenants because they are too flamboyant!

Having been a landlord for ten years, I can tell you that you are dead wrong.

The single women have, by far, been cleaner than the sinlge men.

My experience has been the opposite. Men keep things picked up, but never really CLEAN. The floor has no clutter but is filthy.

Women tend to have collections of things, where few men do, so they can have busier homes.

The big thing with single men is that they tend to just move someone in, where women are less likely to do that.

You may think you rented to a single guy and find out that he moved some chick in with her kids.

BTW, women's PUBLIC restrooms get messy because they drop tp on the floor. They aren't touching something that someone else may have touched to their bodies. I have NEVER seen a woman, slob or not, do this at home!

If you really want a neat tenant your best bet is to check out their car. The condition of the interior is a good indication of how they live, male or female.
