Office Party Ideas? |
I am trying to coordinate a summer office party. I work at an Architecture firm and the employees like to have a good time. So far we are planning on renting inflatable devices such as a Spider Man velcro wall and a Jousting platform. We want to rent a slushie maching to make mixed drinks. I also need to think of some type of entertainment such as a game that everyone in the office could participate in (about 50 ppl) and maybe band or music ideas. In the past we have had a magician, scavenger hunt games, etc. Does anyone have any ideas for the games and entertainment? What about a hypnotist. We had one every year come to our school and hypnotize the senior class. That would be a hoot to see some of your co-workers get hypnotized and doing strange stuff!! Try a cotton candy machine as well...it is entertainment and a yummy snack all in one. It reminds everyone of being a kid! As for music, send an email to everyone asking them to name two fo their favorite songs growing up. Make those songs into a mix...everyone will love hearing their song come on. I have always found that doing very ordinary things are a blast. One thing I did was have a bubble-blowing competition. Very cheap investment and you can buy a nice prize to encourage participation. Have a setup like the NCAA tournament and post it in the office about a week before the party to stir up the menfolk. Everyone can blow a bubble and it's a good time. Maybe you could do something like a Casino Royale theme with roullette and poker or blackjack. The winners can cash their chips in for prizes. Since you're having it outdoors, try outdoor games. |
