Could my rental office give a friend that I let stay with me for a few weeks a no trespassing notice? |
Question Details: I let a friend move into my place and now she has her boyfriend staying here they broke my door to my bedroom of the hinges and they will not stop smoking weed in my house and I have a 2 month old baby, and all the police said was that there is nothing they could do if the girl and her boyfriend don't want them to search there things. I told both of them to get out but before she moved in I wrote up an agreement for her to pay me $600.00 in rent but she only gave me $300 and said she would give me the rest three days later. now I call the cops to get them out and the cops say I have to let them stay and obtain an eviction notice for both of them an give them 30 day because she gave me money. So even though thay say 30 days could my rental office give them a no trespassing notice to make them leave? And yes they know becase the cops has been to my house 7 times in 2 days beacuse of them. Give her back her money and toss her out on her butt along with her bf. Well, ask the cops if you can do that legally to get around the eviction notice thing. Type up an eviction notice yourself and hand it to them. Sign and date it and keep a copy for yourself. You have to ask your rental office that question. that is crazy!! tell them to GET OUT!!!! hey if they leave put thier stuff outside and LOCK the door!!! can you have your dad or step dad.., some man ANY man!! too come over and MAKE them leave? Id get them out somehow!... I cant believe the cops wont do anything, if your renting and the lease is in your name, did you tell the police that this is a houseguest who just moved her b friend in, and they are abusing you. If i was there,, i dont know you. but id raise hell and make them leave, how terrible for you!! what a real nightmare!!! |
