Could you explain this to me please?

There is a property advertised as having ten bedrooms spread on the two adjoining second and third floors of two properties. The street level is offices. The asking price is 拢200,000 with a 14 year term to run on the lease. Further on the website it says the annual rent is 拢12,000. Does it mean the asking price is for the lease only and that you get your income from letting the rooms out as in a hotel?

Not actually being able to read the ad, it would be hard to proffer a correct answer.

My guess is the reference to the 14 year lease is for the businesses. It is not unusual to have multi-year leases for businesses.

If you are unsure, simply call and ask them.

Sounds like a good buy though, depending on the condition of the property.
