Is it worth the effort - moving from working in an office, to working at home?

I have been working in an office for over 2 years now, and I'm considering working from home, as the business is the type which works online.

I have hardly any visitors to the office itself, and there is no real need to pay the 450 bucks every month as the rent!!!

I'm just slightly worried about the idea of working from home - there would be no kinda "push" or drive to get up and go to work, and I might feel a bit isolated sitting at home all day.

Can anyone who works from home, or has made the move, please say whether it's a bad idea or not????

It's so hard to get up and get my head together and get going in the mornings. I have been thinking about getting an office.But on the plus side, it's great not to have the travelling, I can knock off work when I like to go to the gym or shopping, and my social life seems to be better as I have more time because of the absence of travelling.
Plus, I can bunk off work at 4pm to go and put the dinner on, then go back to work again till dinner is cooked.
I do think this has spoiled me, and I would be unlikely to want (or be offered) a 'proper' job again because I could not adapt to the requirement to be in a particular place at particular times.
