You're right, that's so humiliating... I don't know how my mom would react if she saw one in my room, that's why I don't have any. But really, be more careful.. it's terrible when people see your private...stuff..

I'm sure the maintenance men have seen worse! If these people need to shift over personal belongings, I'm sure they've come across worse and more embarassing things than a dildo. You really shouldn't be embarassed about it. And I'm sure the woman who took your rent check wasn't holding back laughter. I can't see why maintenance would run and tell everyone what they saw. And if they did, that's an invasion of your privacy and if you find out they were telling people your business, they should be fired.

Forget about it. What else can you do? Dont make a big deal about it because they have probably seen there share of strange things (and kinkier things) while being in people's apartments.

Maybe next time leave out a whip and mask or something so that they ahve something to talk about. Look on the bright side: If you want anything done, they may be quicker to come to your apartment if there is a chance that they can speculate about your sex life!

Let them laugh. At least YOU have a good sex life. The more I learn about sexuality, the less I am embarrassed about my own fetishes. Dildos are very, very common. If they say anything, the best way to shut them up is act like you don't care. You know....disarm them. My other advice is this: get a new dildo. Who knows what the maintenance guys did with yours. And.... get a trunk with a lock for your "personal" items you don't want your landlord to see.

We've all had embarrassing moments in life, and you certainly won't make an awkward situation any less awkward by bringing it up to the woman in the office, the maintenance men, or anyone else. In all reality, it is very unlikely that the maintenance man said anything to the office staff -- you are likely so mortified that it only seemed like the woman in the office was "in the know" and repressing laughter.

Many, if not most, adults in normal intimate relationships own things that are considered very private, and the maintenance men (and anyone else who regularly has to step into a person's private home or bedroom) have to be accustomed to seeing, and ignoring, things that are very personal. Even if such a person were so unprofessional as to comment on private items in your home, then the shame is on him for being so unprofessional -- not on you. You've done nothing wrong and have nothing to worry about. Don't make matters worse by trying to broach the subject with someone who shouldn't, and likely doesn't, know anything about it. Your private life is exactly that... private. Try not to worry, and just let it go.

Firstly why are these people in your apartment without you present?I am in private accomodation in the U.K if my landlord came into the property while i wasn't here i would have him arrested or kick his ****.Why worry its a peice of plastic, i used to do maintenance for the local council and i saw a lot more than dildo's unbelievable things.Don't worry about it, but i would definatly look at the tenancy agreement.They could have walked in while you were using it if they can come and go as they please seek legal advice
