How do I find a job quickly?

I got laid off my last job this past monday. I got hired for a new job and started working at the new job the next day. Unfortunately i find out that for the next few weeks i'm only going to be working 12 hours a week which almost but doesn't quite pay for my rent, let alone my other bills, plus I need to get some relatively inexpensive parts on my car to be fixed because it died. I already brought up the subject about my hours or any sort of work schedule at my new job and they basically said it's up to me..but finally gave me a work schedule after I told them I work better that way. But still they only told me to work Tues and THurs for six hours each day for now until I learn more...but with rent coming at the end of Sept. I can't afford to pay my rent this way....so how can I find a new job right away in the administrative assistant/office assistant/data entry field fast? Temp Agencies and Monster.com type of sites haven't worked...so how can I find another office job fast.

Try a temp agency like manpower or something.
They can get you in as a temp and sometimes the employers will hire you if you are a good worker.
Even if they do not the agency can place you in some other job as well.
