Returned Check... Question? |
I wrote a check to pay my rent. Today I called my bank to check my balance and they said that i had a negative available balance and that the check will be returned tonight. How long will it take for my leasing office to be notified about the returned check. I have most of the money to pay the rent again, but not all of it, and i will have it next week. UPDATE: the next business day!!! your leasing company will get to know next business day. I would recommend that before they come to know, call them and let aware them it happened by mistake and you be paying next week. If your leasing office checks their balance online, they will probably find out about it right away. If they are notified through the mail, it will probably take a few days. Why wait till they find out through the bank? if the bank knows, so does the leasing company. |
