What should i do when you mail a letter and you didn t put ya return address on it?

I mail a letter for my house rent is $750.00 in check and i forgot to write my return address would they mail the letter to the company or not. what should i do should i call the post office or cancel that check by calling my bank i check my account and i didn t see the rent paid. I don t know if they still will send it if i didn t put my return address they send me a letter with a stamp and they address on it i send that letter before and they received it. I send it on 11/1 they in new york.

I don't think your return address absolutely has to be on the envelope as long as your account information is on the inside.

As long as you put the correct address of the recipient on the envelope, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Writing a return address is optional. It is for your protection in case you addressed it incorrectly and the recipient cannot be reached, or in the event that you did not provide the correct postage. In either of those cases, the letter could then be returned to you for correction. As long as the envelope was correctly addressed and you remembered to attach a stamp, you can relax. It will not effect whether or not the postal service attempts to deliver your letter.
