PG in Bangalore?

I am looking for a PG in Bangalore. I am a male software programmer. I need the PG for just 3 months. I would like a room with bath/toilet bed and dinner. Breakfast and Lunch I get at my office.

1. Do renting PGs in Bangalore involve a security deposit to be paid to the landlord?
2. How many months rent has to be poaid in advance for a PG?
3. What about HRA rent receipts? Are the given on actuals?
