Should We move or stay to see how it goes?

OK. SO here it all is. My husband and i are having so hard times. We own our own house.
My husband and I are going to be moving to Mo. from Ga the problem is is when? We want to sell the house but with the bad drought in GA we have no...NO water. Our well has run dry. It went dry last monday. Friday my boss pulled me into his office and said the business may go under and there is no geruntee on how much longer I will have a job. I would have to get a new job if we stay here and wait for our water (which could be a year) and house problem to be fixed. So the big question is... Do We stay here in hopes to not blow all of our money on bottled water and showering at parents house and I get a new job when the time comes OR do WE move to Mo leaving our house here (with family to watch over it) and rent something up there until our house sells down here, having water and a much better income.

Ok incase I was not clear... If we move to Mo we will be able to rent something small and pay our morgage... We can not do that now due to the fact I may not have a job and we would not bring in as much money

Go. What are you waiting for. It sounds like there is not much keeping you there, so what would you be giving up?? A job that might not be there tomorrow, land that has no water.........a better job possibility, running water, a better economy. What's the worst that can happen, you have to say you were wrong and come back??? Do it.

so here what you need to think about. 1. are you going to make enough money in MO to cover your expenses in both places? you may have a renter in Ga but what if they move out or need maintenance on the house? 2. how are you going to rent it out without water? 3. are you willing to chance losing the house and ruining your credit?

I鈥檇 suggest you talk to a few Realtors in your area to get an idea of how long it would take you to sell your current home and what you could get for it. Selling can take MONTHS. If you鈥檙e having money issues now with only one house, how are you going to manage to pay a mortgage there and housing where you鈥檙e moving?
