Are there any decent priced home/condo and/or duplexes in LA?

I鈥檓 interested in getting a place of my own, with the way rent is these days, and I figured I should be putting that money towards a mortgage.

I keep hearing that the housing market is on a down trend. I realize LA is in a different category of its own and so the chances of that happening are slim to none.

Does anyone know where I can find foreclosed homes, or cheap property? Also, I heard that there is a county office has a listing of such property.

Where I can get that info?

Anyone know any good agents that deal with those types of property?

Read the above web site and just think if there was a Publicly assessable MLS that was mandatory and ran by the county assessor office. WOW what a thought a fare open honest and transparent housing market.

If you go to a gas station or a seven eleven, they should have some sort of magazine that lists houses and condors for sale. It gives pretty good information about the house and property, including if it is foreclosed. I live in the Santa Clarita valley and I always pick up one to look at while i am getting my car washed.
