I know my husband is hiding assets. How do I solve this quickly without too much of a fight?

I have uncovered alot of my husbands greedy habits. His unfairness is almost unreal. I am looking for a way to separate but still be fair to myself. We own 52 rental properties. I am a stay at home mother of 3 year old twins. He even locks his office when he leaves. I have come to the point where I am so sick of it that I have to go. I have daughters to take care of . He is so selfish that he whould try to get custody if he had to pay child support. I do have rental income for my half of the property,however he gets the rent. If my name is on the houses,don't I get some income that they make. What action do I take first?

Get a job make your own money! Then you wont have to worry how much money he is making and hiding from you!

Get yourself a good attorney. It is very funny that you say your husband would rather have custody then have to pay child support. It costs more to be the residential parent than the contribution from child support anyway. He sounds like a bitter old man.

In the divorce discovery process there will be a form to be completed by both parties listing all the assets. Not listing an asset will be a very serious offense. A good attorney for you will be required in the process.

First, I'd like to know how you know he's hiding assets? Can you confirm it? This will be important. Secondly, does your husband know how you are feeling and what concerns you have uncovered?
While this appears to be a poker hand being played out, remember he's playing his hand and you've got yours! This may not play out quickly, so be patient.
I'd recommend a healthy discussion with him first before getting legal intervention. Sounds like quite a few questions need to be answered, including the "locked office", as you attempt to move forward. Take one thing at a time, make sure you prioritize. Is it the money, is it the custody of the kids, is it the rental properties? You might find a resolution, which might not be separation or divorce.
Proceed with caution though. If in your discussions with him he fails to provide full disclosure, which you're entitled to, then seek out an attorney for legal advice.
