Can the apartment leasing office refuse to give me the new rate that is lower and offered to others? |
It's time for us to renew our apartment leasing contract. We know that the current rate offer to others is lower than what's we have been paying. However, the leasing office refuse still wants us to pay the old higher rate. We know that we can just move out but we are curious about why they want to treat us differently. We have been a good tenant with an excellent payment history in the past one year. They do not have to offer you the lower rate. About your only chance is to tell them you are going to move if they don't give you the lower rate. |
