Noisy upstairs neighbors!! HELP ME!!?

I'm a graduate student who also works FULL TIME.I get sto frustrated trying to rest in a place in which I cant relax bc the ppl upstairs are yelling or tumbling all over the floor!! Sometimes, it sounds as if they have an amp on the floor. They have destroyed my balcony furniture and even clothing that was hung there to dry with their cigarette ashes, match sticks and liquids. You have no idea how many times I have complained to my leasing office!! I call the police (non-emergency 311) atleast 3x a week.Tonight we called the property security, but the police showed up at our door. They told us to quit calling bc there is nothing they can do. The police take soooo long to get here, that by the time they arrive the noise stops (around 2am). I cant take it anymore!! What can I do? The leasing office will NOT cooperate with me to resolve this issue. Anyone specialize in landlord-tenant relations or know how to walk away from a lease in which a landlord wont let me have peace of mind

If you are having no luck with the onsite office then you need to go over their head to the Regional Property manager that oversees that property and the onsite people. On the leasing sign out front it should say "managed by" and the name of the management company/owners. Google the management company and find out where they are located. Call and ask to speak to the property manager for your complex. Explain to them the issue you are having. Then follow up with a letter outlining your conversation, send Certified RRR. See if they will help you. The onsite staff are terrible, I hate to say it but you can get some real idiots working there that don't care and don't want to do anything, once you get their boss involved they then have no choice but to do something.

Read your lease, find out what your termination rights are, some have very strict penalties for breaking a lease some don't you might only have to pay two months penalty for terminating early but make sure you read that section first.

Ask if they can move you to another building, maybe you can be on the top floor so you have no one above you. I'm sorry you are experiencing this, unfortunately that's apartment living for you, see about either buying a house or possibly renting a house so you don't have to deal with neighbors. I was in a similar situation with my next door neighbors throwing parties all the time and having their stereo at a very unreasonable volume every day all day and night, the cops couldn't do anything because they turned the music off when they arrived so I never had any proof, and unfortunately I owned the condo I lived in, thank god the people next door were renters because after a year and a half they got evicted and my life became managable. I've since moved and purchased a townhome that was heavily insulated, I can still hear my upstairs neighbor (who walks heavily) but that's all I can hear and to be honest I can live with that.

See how you do about contacting the management company.

Good luck

you better stop teling or complaining then automatically they 'll stop doing it.try to befriend them and try to convey them about ur inconvinience in a friendly way.if they cross the limits then start doing the same thing what they do 2 u.
all the best, hope u succed in this.
