I slept with my landlord... Now she's evicting me :) what are my rights?

Alright here is the story...i sublease an office inside an office. I had a physical relationship with her, (i wont bore you with all the details on how and what happened, i know some of you would love to know, but thats not why i'm posting :) ) so this became a little serious, and one day we argued, so she asked me to move out.. i told her to evict me. few days later she calmed down, appologized for calling me every name in the book and she said she doesnt want me to leave...we still talked on the phone, she tells me she loves me and all that crap...anyway on valentines day she had one of her psycho moments again, but now she typed a 30 day notice in which she says she wishes to no longer have a personal and a business relationship with me. It is month to month lease, i have already printed out business cards and spent some money on advertising my business. I cant take that crap anymore and cant stand her threating me.. what are my options? besides stop having affairs with landlords :)

You gambled and you loose! You are on a month to month, nothing you can do about it!

She has the right to ask you to vacate the premises if you have a month to month agreement with her. She can't evict you if you have a lease though.

I would cut your loses and get out, the price of business cards is a small price to pay. Consider how expensive it could get to stay there. (Financially & Emotionally)

Accept the consequences, and be happy that you are able to move out and not stuck in a lease. You lose some money on cards, but that's small potatoes in the big scheme of life. She could really damage your reputation and business, so move before she changes her psycho mind! Hurry. Move this week.

This had disaster written all over it from the start ... glad you have learned some lessons here without getting really crushed. Good luck at your new location!

LOLOLOLOL

you can fight it but why would you want to stay with bad blood between you

A soured physical relationship doesn't meet the legal standards for eviction with cause, and eviction without cause is illegal.
If I were in your shoes I would seek to make a deal with her. I would agree to move out with compensation for expenses.
I'm not sure if there is a rental board or housing authority in your area, but you should find out. The law is on your side in this instance.

Being on a month-to-month, a 30 day notice to you is all that is required. Just take a bit of advice with you. "You don't get your honey where you get your money!"

Cut your losses and leave, and just be happy she didn't get pregnant.

Stop having affairs with landlords.

Seriously, there is not much you can do. You are on a month to month lease. She is giving you the requisite time to move out. What you could due is sue for terminating the lease for unjustifiable reasons, and ask that she compensate for the business expense that you will be out (ads, biz cards, etc.).

You have no rights, you are on a month to month lease and she has given you proper notice of the eviction.

She doesn't have to have a reason.

She is obligated to give you a 30-day notice, she gave you one

There is nothing you can do.

That is what happens when you **** where you eat.
