Loud a** Neighbors having sex every damn night!!!!!!!!!? |
My downstairs neighbors in my apartment building do it every night and the girl is soooooooooooo loud! I mean his d*** can no way be that good as loud as she is! At first it was funny i'll admit and I didn't care. Now, its like week 8 of hearing this every single night and I can't stand it! I have to wake up to this at like 3am every day and I cant go back to sleep. Its also very embarassing to people who stay the night. I mean this My guess is that they are loud, but not loud enough that the landlord or police can do anything about it. So as suggested already, I would tape them. But I would just slip them a copy of the recording under the door and write a note saying I would appreciate it if you would listen to this and let me know what you think. I bet things quiet down. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Make a noise yourself - not an obvious "trying to get their attention" or get them to stop noise -- but cough, pretend to talk on the phone, walk around, drop a quarter, etc. Maybe they will realize how thin the ceiling is an quiet down. If not, write them an anonymous note. Be it sex or a loud party, it's still disturbing the peace, you can and should start calling the police. I had the same problem in college. Sometimes I beat on the adjacent wall with a hammer. Other times I had my husband go and knock on their door. Sure it embarrassed the hell out of them but so what? They should learn to be quieter! HUnny, talk to your neighbor, and let her know that even though you are not trying to tell her how to live, but the loudness is getting to you. Two options I can think of; i would put a note under the door first....maybe glad your enjoying yourself buy i need my sleep, if that don't work then call the leasing office. Talk to them and I personally would talk to the landlord, Not that I think it will be much help but its the proper channels. I say if they still go at it like rabbits get ear plugs or stick a roll of duct tape on their door with a note that says use it PLEASE..lol sorry trying to be funny my bad. Well before you start anything with the management or the police go down there and talk to them....I had a loud girlfriend once and my neighbor came and talked to me about it and I had no problem with him approaching me....chances are they may not even realize that sound is actually traveling that far. So talk to them first and if it doesnt get resolved talk to management and if that does nothing call the police about the disturbance. Well if it was you making the noise would you want someone to call the police or give you a note under the door. I would prefer a note under the door and if that didn't work I would bang on the wall!!!!! leasing office seems the civil way to go, you can also talk to them as well, coming to agreement and in a respectful and discrete way, it's their right as much as yours. good luck :) Call police at the time of their activity and tell police that some woman shouting in the apartment. Pretend you don;t know about the sex. Just pretend woman is danger or something. let police know who you are, so that they can tell your neighbor you reported. Dear, you should first try talking with your neighbor. Then if that doesnt work, try the police. they settle things for good. =) Tape it Slip an anomous note under the door, asking them to be quieter in the middle of the night Oh crap...what apartments do you live in?! |
