What is the statuate of limitations on a broken lease ? |
I got a letter today saying i needed to pay $ 890 from a lawyer's office.. it was over a lease i suposedly broken in like 2000 or in 2001 ..I cant remember but it was a long time ago...I moved because they wouldnt fix my water leak , and it was running my bill up ..I dont even think i broke my lease , i just moved b4 renewing it ..I cant exactly remembr all the facts it was sooooo long ago ...what is the statute of limitations on this ??? Here it is. Look under written contracts for the state the contract was signed in. Depends on the state. |
