Rental and leasing plus mold what should i do (see details)? |
Ok here it is i have an apartment. I have been telling them about the leaks and the boken stair rail. Plus the broken garbage deiposal. The pipes and the moist ceiling. I have told them about these things from the beginning and others when it started to happen. Now there is a good possibility of black mold in the ceilings and i have pictures of it in my cabnents. What do you mean won't let you?. The RTA states the property must be livable and reach health and safety standards. The broken staircase really worries me as it a HUGE problem if you or your friend were to hurt yourself the Lessor and the Agency is in huge amounts of hot water. It sounds as if you have seeked other avenues of advice and that was a very wise thing to do. Ultimately I dont think that they have any real abilty to hold you in a place that is causing you and your family health concerns. |
