Do you think this is a good business idea?

When I'm driving, more often than not I see commercial buildings that are leasing that are very dirty.

Do you think it's a good idea to call the leasing office and asking them if they would like to have that certain property pressure washed?

I mean, when you are trying to sell your car, you wash it first. Wouldn't that also apply to buildings that are trying to lease?

It's a good idea, try it for 3-4 months as your part-time job,
call or leave your message with your recommendation and
best quotation, or e-mail is available, to see what happen.
hope it will bring up your own business. also you can try
some other commercial buildings like restaurant, service
station etc. design to prepare your business cards and
keep all details in record to review daily.

The first thing you should do is find out how much it would cost to clean it. Then call the leasing office and put the idea to them. Sounds like a good idea to me - but with most good business ideas the first thing you need to do is get the price right. If it's too expoensive the best idea in the world can't succeed.

I do think it it's a good idea. I would even take it a step further and do consulting on the entire property. Develop relationships with subcontractors (e.g., landscapers, pressure washers, window washers, painters, asphalt companies, etc.) and you can sit down with the owner and present cost-effective solutions that may help them lease the space faster and for a higher rent.

Call them and ask. If 1 says yes then go buy the equipment and do the job. Breaking even or making a few pennies. Then repeat it. Now that the equipment is paid off, the rest of the jobs are profit.

Why not, just try it on a part time basis and see how it goes.
