Eviction from my apartment?

About 9months ago, there was a leak. I called the leasing office about 10times within a 6month period and maintenance did not respond. Finally, I went to the authorities at the local municipal building and the authorities contacted the manager of my apartment complex. After that, maintenance immediately fixed the leak. About two months after that, another leak appeared in my living room. I sent a notorized letter to the leasing office and maintenance did not respond within a legal time frame. I went to the authorities and they called up the manager. Maintenance and the manager were at my apartment when I arrived home. They both said there was a leak. I had 5 containers directly under the water damaged part of the ceiling. One was about 6gallons full of water from the leak. They left my apartment and I got into the shower. I got out of the bathroom and the landlord was in my living room. He asked me where the leak was and I pointed to it. Basically, he said I am a dellusional..

troublemaking tenant. After that, he said you are evicted twice. He wants to evict me because my apartment was too messy. It says in my lease that a tenant's unit must be kept as clean as possible. My apartment could of been cleaner. There is a lot of space to walk, no food is on the floor, appliances, trash is taken out daily, the bathroom sink, toilet and shower get cleaned once a month. I maintain the apartment to the best of my ability. Maintenance has the right to come into my apartment whenever they want to because I gave them permission to at the office. But, maintenance instaneously came into my apartment and the landlord expected right angles. This is unreasonable. What are my rights regarding eviction in the state of new jersey? How does the landlord evict me?

I'm sorry to hear about the mess you are dealing with. Your landlord sounds like he is out of line. There is a difference between having a messy apartment and having a dirty apartment. It sounds like you have some mess and clutter, but that is not grounds for eviction. My thought is that he's tired of you forcing him to follow through with doing his job because you keep going to the authorities (as you should). Be sure to document everything that has happened and continue to document. See if you can find an affordable lawyer - I think you have a case. Good luck!

WOW!! You clean your shower sink only once a month?? Hard to believe I have to clean my daily LOL

Get out of there. A lawyer is to expensive and stressful.
Once a landlord has you pegged as "trouble' there is usually something wrong on both sides. You are not telling the entire truth are you?

you know, its a good thing you sent a letter to the apt mgr. You have some proof. And I mean for the leaky ceiling.
However, as far as the shower curtain? Come on, even I can figure out how to hang up a shower curtain to a rod. There is only one way for figure that out. Look at it. The landlord is NOT resonsibile to put up a roof for damamge. Nor is he responsible for the new carpet, or responsible if she is a lunitic in a hospital She is just mad.
